Letter from
Orange Grove Estates Management
The following is a copy of a letter I received on Friday, March 5, 2004.
March 5, 2004
TO ALL RESIDENTS:
The management would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have taken the time to introduce yourselves over the past 2 months.
We appreciate the time and opinions that many of you have given us.
We would now like to take this opportunity to address some issues of concern:
While we want the children in our park to enjoy their neighborhood, the following reminders are for their safety:
- The bicyclers and skateboarders are riding in the middle of the streets with no regard to traffic. This is very dangerous!
- No bicycling, skateboarding or rollerskating/blading is allowed in the breezeway between the office and north rec hall.
- Be reminded that motorized scooters are not allowed in the park.
Parents, please remember that you are responsible for your children and their actions!
All residents keep in mind that parking on the streets is prohibited - these are fire lanes to allow access to individual homes in case of emergency.
Vehicles continue to park in these emergency access lanes.
If no space is available in your driveway, there is parking available at the clubhouse.
There have been numerous complaints about speeders.
We ask for your cooperation in adhering to the speed limit and obeying the stop signs for the safety of all residents.
Litter has become a problem (especially cigarette butts and candy wrappers) in the streets, around the dumpsters, and in the playground and clubhouse areas.
Please remember to use the trash cans to help keep our community clean and also remind your children of the same.
Your driveways are for your vehicles.
Items other than vehicles should be placed in a storage shed or be kept inside your home.
WEEDS - this is the season.
Let's keep up with them!
Remember that your yard is from your patio up to the edge of your neighbor's driveway as well as the front and back of your lot.
Corner lots are reponsible for both street and patio sides of their home.
All of the above reminders are to help keep our park attractive, clean and safe for all residents.
We can accomplish much by working together and help to build a strong community.
Your assistance is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Barb Morris, Mike Morris (signed)
