The following is a copy of a letter I received on Monday, December 22, 2003, with the rent bill.

December 18, 2003

Dear Resident:

Congratulations to William Fletcher space #205 and Jack Giacomarra space #244, these were our December rent promotion winners. Good luck to all residents for January.

We would also like to congratulate the winner of this month's Orange Grove Estates Outstanding Home of the Month Steve Haines space #133. This home will display the home of the month sign until January 15th and was also awarded a $25.00 gift card to Home Depot. Good luck to all residents for January.

We had a lot of residents that were in the holiday spirit this year. All the homes that were decorated looked great and it was hard for us to pick only two (2) houses for the best decorated, we ended up with three (3). Congratulations to Richard and Sue Ames space #78, Efran and Debra Chavez space #82 and Carol Hicks and Sharon Dean space #119 they received $25.00 off their January rent.

Last month we announced that Orange Grove Estates had been nominated for a Blue Ribbon award. At this point MHCA has only received 103 questionnaire's back. If we do not get better resident participation our nomination will be revoked. If you have not sent your questionnaire back please do so as soon as possible. If you have misplaced or lost your questionnaire, please stop by the office and we will give you another questionnaire. This award is a big honor for all the residents and for our community and it would be a shame if we did not get it simply because the questionnaires were not returned as we passed the site inspection with flying colors.

With the holidays approaching, please be advised that the office will be closed on the following days, December 24th, 25th, and 26th in observance of Christmas and January 1st and 2nd in observance of New Year's.

Please be reminded that we have the parking stickers and pool passes available now. All cars must display these stickers by January 31, 2004. Please stop by the office with your registration to get your sticker. If you can not make it to the office during our hours, please contact us and we will make arrangements to meet with you at the office after hours.

On December 15 our gate going into the dumpster area had the lock cut off of it. If anyone has information regarding who did this please contact the office as there is reward available for this information. Please keep in mind any type of vandalism done within our community constitutes immediate eviction.

As you all know Ken and I are leaving Orange Grove at the end of the month. This was a hard decision for us to make and we will miss all of you. We have hired new managers, Mike and Barb Morris and they will be starting on January 5, 2004. Please welcome them and help them get acquainted with the community.
