What is the Mobile Home Owners
Association of Orange Grove Estates?
The Mobile Home Owners Association of Orange Grove Estates (MHOA) is an organized group of mobile homeowners, who wish to educate and counsel members on the unique problems of manufactured home living and to engage in political, legislative, civic, legal, or other activities which directly or indirectly affect our interest in the improvement of our living and/or general conditions. MHOA became a Charter Park of the Arizona Association Manufactured Home Owners, Inc. (AAMHO) on December 23, 2001.
AAMHO is an organization that has worked continuously, since the 1970s, to protect the rights of Arizonas manufactured homeowners at the State and local levels.
For additional information on AAMHO, please visit their Web Site at www.aamho.org/aamho.html.
MHOA accomplishments include:
- Assisted in getting BINGO started.
- Supplied some of the American flags flown over the office.
- Helped create the Neighbor Helping Neighbor program.
- Very instrumental in getting the playground equipment, and furnished most of the labor for its installation.
- Creation of a community library located in the South Clubhouse.
Current MHOA activities include:
- Monthly pancake breakfasts.
