Taken at the HM Dockyard on Ireland Island, where the BVRC provided the guard (the Royal Marine detachment having been withdrawn at some point before the war), this photograph shows three senior ranks of the BVRC. At the right (?) is C.S.M. E.A. Lee, who would actually be datched in 1943 to the Bermuda Militia contingent to the Caribbean Regiment, with which he would serve in Italy and Egypt.
