Why did you choose a job/career in this field? 

I have always been interested in business, especially the financial side of things.  Financial health of the company determines:

• If Investors Invest
• If the banks will extend credit
• If suppliers and customers continue to do business with the organization

 

How did you decide on your job/Career? 

I assessed what my fit would be in the organization and if making this move would satisfy my goals both short and long term. The main thing I looked at was the corporate culture and if I would I enjoy going in to the office everyday.

 I found it through a recruiting agency that specializes in accounting placement.

 

What suggestions could you give to those out there who would like to work for the same company or are looking to make a similar career move? 

Make sure you find an organization or opportunity that will meet your personal and professional goals.

 Maybe touch on the fact that Money should not be the main driver in determining your career path.  After time if you are good at what you do you will be financially rewarded.  Make sure you enjoy your work because you do it most of your waking life.
