Shadow Moses

Fox Islands, Alaska

The nuclear weapons disposal facility on Shadow Moses Island in Alaska's Fox Archipelago is attacked and captured by Next Generation Special Forces led by members of FOX-HOUND.

The terrorists have secured hundreds of nuclear warheads and they're demanding that the government turn over the remains of Big Boss. They warn that if their demands are not met within 24 hours, they'll launch a nuclear weapon.

-Mission Objectives-

1.Infiltrate the nuclear disposal site. Determine the nuclear launch capabilities of the terrorists and prevent a launch at all costs.

2.Rescue the DARPA Chief and the ArmsTech President, Kenneth Baker. Both are being held as hostages.

Snake's Staff

ROY CAMPBELL 140.85

This ex-commander of FOXHOUND, like Snake, was brought back from retirement to lead this mission. He's Snake's main contact throughout the game and will tell him where to go and when. Talk to him whenever you need your mission objectives clarified.

NAOMI HUNTER 140.85

Kind and gentle, Dr.Naomi is thought to be sister of one of Snake's enemies. She is FOXHOUND's medical expert and specializes in gene therapy.

MEI LING 140.96

Mei Ling is an MIT graduate and communications expert. She invented the Comlink Snake uses in this mission to communicate with his staff. Call on Mei Ling whenever you need advice or want to save your progress.

NATASHA ROMANOV 141.52

Natasha is expert in all types of weaponry and enjoys smoking as much as Snake does. Call her when you find a new weapon and she'll be glad to tell you all about it.

MASTER MILLER 141.80

Like Roy Campbell, Miller was a Marine and member of the Green Berets. Before he retired to Alaska, he was master of FOXHOUND's survivalist training. As you proceed through your mission, you will find him a big help, especially when you have a Time Bomb in your inventory.
