feels so helpless and lost inside

miracle of God she holds tight.
Looking
back upon 1000 yesterdays

to God above she could make them right.

child's eyes glow much as her daddys

of torment for her and for him.

softly cries, as the sky grows dim.
She
knows he truely wanted to share in this

heart beats for this child, she knows.

knows how strong his fire burns

knows that surely, for this child he glows.
She
looks upon this baby and softly weeps
"I
am sorry" are the only words she can speak.

knows he can never forgive nor forget
His
true desire was the thing that made her weak.
So
many things taken away from him in this

looks upon this child's face and smiles.
"Daddy
Loves you, hon", she manages to say
fighting
back the tears, ignoring the miles.
She
feels so lost inside, she knows the truth
He
wanted and needed this in his life.
Gone
are all the dreams he held so dear
To
be "Daddy" was replaced with endless strife.
Today
she wishes she had done things different
Now
it's too late to change the past.
He
wanted so much to be there with them
Once
again, the love of "Daddy" finishes last.
