THIS
MAN JESUS
As Holy Week is starting
to come to a close,
let us remember what
these last three day
really mean.
Holy Thursday, for
Christians, has been the
day that we commemorate
the day that
Jesus came together
with His apostles for
their Last Supper.
It was at this dinner that
Jesus told His followers
what to expect the
next day. It was the
night when Jesus washed
the feet of His apostles
and Peter asked his
Lord to wash not only
his feet, but his entire
body.
It was the night when
Jesus blessed,broke and
took the bread and
declared it His body and
gave it to the apostles
to eat.
It was the night when
Jesus blessed the wine and
declared it to be
His blood and gave it to His
apostles to drink,
after which He told them
to do likewise.
It was the night when
Jesus told Peter that
he would deny his
Lord on three different
occasions, and Peter
told Him that he would
never deny Him.
It was the night that
Jesus told them that one
of their own would
betray Him and turn Him over
to His enemies.
It was the night of
Jesus Agony in the Garden.
It was the night when
Jesus asked His apostles
to pray with Him,
and they fell asleep.
It was the night of
the beginning of the end
of Jesus public life
on earth.
It was the night when
all that Jesus had
foretold
came true.
It was the night when
Jesus started to
come into His Kingdom.
It was the night when
we were finally going
to have a chance to
join Him in that
Kingdom.

to be able to join
Jesus in His eternal
Kingdom?
