This is the best shot of the eclipse that we got. The clouds acted as a pretty good filter!

And here it is again - you might just about see it..

This about as close to totality as we got.

The most interesting thing wasn't the sun - it was the massive 'rainbow ring' that appeared just prior to the eclipse. Was this due to the sudden drop in temperature?

The sky was totally odd all the was during the eclipse - it was like the sky had been stretched..

And another of the unusual cloud - it was totally overcast an hour before and after the eclipse.

The pin hole camera (i.e. cardboard box with tracing paper on one end) was a pretty good way to see the sun

Chris, Nikki and James came over to have a look through our cameras.

While dad set-up our minolta slr - with the longest lens we had - so as not to burnout the shutter curtain. 

Dad hasn't sent off the film from the other camera yet - If they come out, I'll pop them on the website.
