The man is back and with the one and only AKCDC. Although I bailed out last year, I garauntee I'll be there this year, and early reports say that the legend himself, Douglas Kindra will be gracing us with his attendance. Hopefully we'll be able to get some ballin perks to go along with this race. Stay tuned for some more info on this one.

Run Your Ice Off Hardcore 5k
Let me preface this description by pointing out the name of this race. If you don't want to run this race purely based on the name, then maybe the MGRC isn't for you. Other than the ballerness of it's name, this race offers a rare chance to spend a prolonged period of time in a car driven by DK (since the race is almost in Iowa). Other than that, there is a surprising amount of free stuff, and it's somewhat cheap to sign up for if that's how you get down. In addition to this there seemed to be an abundance of baller shirts just laying around the finish area, which we were happy to exploit last year.

Despite it's gay name, it seems like a potentially baller race. We were thinking of balling it last year, but in textbook MGRC fashion, Kindra acted somewhat pussyish about doing it so we decided to do something obnoxious instead. Peep the website, there appears to be some interesting perks.
