Steamboat Classic: 4mile or 15k in Peoria. Huge field, seems to be a very well organized race. One of the most popular races in Illinois. $20 by 6/4 or $25 dpending on when you register, you can ONLY preregister. DK has pre-pussied out of this already.

Tuesday at the Track: High level of baller. Pretty sweet track meet with cool shirts if you win your event. Plus, they have the steeple. Only $5. North Park University Track in Chicago

Milwuakee Brewers Sausage Race - Free tix to Brewers game, sweet shirts, get to run through the baseball stadium as part of the course, get to run against the Sausages. Awesome free stuff at the end. I think only $20.

Chicago Distance Classic - the 1/2 marathon is huge, pretty cool course as well. 5k has minimal compy (i got 2nd last year). Solid free stuff. Shirts blew ass last year though, but the ones from the year before were solid.
