George Goodfleisch was born in Germany on September 11, 1853, to George A Goodfleisch and Louisa (Marion) Goodfleisch according to Cemetery records . George became a naturalized citizen on November 5, 1895 at Franklin County, Ohio. The Certificate of Naturalization indicates the original spelling was "Guthfleisch." At that time, spouses and children would have been granted citizenship as well, but were not recorded. Cemetery records show "Maria" as the lot's owner (although the marker reads "Marie") and indicate that she was born in Germany on July 25, 1856. "Helman" is the only entry under "parents." Another source indicates that the spelling should be "Heilman."

Charles (Carl) Bluhm was born in Germany on February 13, 1852. Dorothea was born on February 6, 1859. Carl purchased Lot No.32, Sec R , in Greenlawn Cemetery on August 4, 1879, but did not become a naturalized citizen until over a year later. Adjacent to Lot 32 is the lot (No. 30) of Frederick Bluhm, assumed to be Carl's brother. Frederick's first wife, Katrina, was buried there in 1876. This would make it would appear that Frederick's ownership of the adjacent lot may have prompted Carl to purchase Lot 32, as they have identical family monuments and Lot 32 was not used until eight years later when Lena Bluhm was buried in 1887. There is no identifying entry next to Lena and she is assumed to have been the mother of Frederick and Carl .

The Ohio Historical Society has an online death certificate index for the years 1913 - 1937, but I did not find Charles (Carl) Bluhm listed. There appears to have been a larger contingent of the Bluhm family settled in NE Ohio (Erie, Cuyahoga, etc).
