Michael Goldberg's RX3 coupe

This is Michael's 1975 Rx-3 Coupe which he has owned for 5 years now. The 13B large extend port powers through a lightened steel flywheel, heavy duty clutch , Rx-5 5 speed (One of the only good things out of the barge!) to a stock 3.7 rearend. The engine runs on straight LPG - A gas research system fitted by Chris Dalton. The System uses a Gas Research 63mm single throttle body mounted on a custom sidedraft adapter which then bolts to the original weber IDA downdraft manifold. Gas is kept in an 80l tank in the boot which now sits where the fuel tank used to. A high flow converter '"converts" the high pressure liquid to a low pressure vapour which is then fed to the throttle body mixer. Paint is 2 pak Metallic gun metal grey, Spark is provided by a Series 2 Rx-7 Electronic dizzy with Magnecore leads, Interior is matching grey velour, steering via a Saas wheel. Exhaust gases leave via a 2.5" not too quiet system 8-), Suspension is taken care of by KYB gas struts and the car sometimes stops with the very good standard brakes 8-(!!. Wheels are 15 x 6 and 15 x 7 Dragway Pros with 50 series rubber.
