Glenn Riddell's RX4 coupe

This is Glenn's Sherbrook green 2-pak painted RX4 coupe. Powered by a Dalton Automotive large extend port 13B, it ran a very respectable 14.7 at 93mph down the Calder strip. Gear changes are courtesy of an RX5 5 speed ( One of the only good bits off the RX5!!) running through a 4.1:1 LSD diff. Glenn runs a modified 4 Barrel carby at the moment, but is in the process of sourcing a 48 IDA Weber 8-).

The engine has been detailed with colour coding and splashes of chrome as well as concealed wiring. Spark is provided by a Series 1 RX7 electronic dizzy. Exhaust gases are expelled through a 2 1/4" system exiting via a huge 3 1/2" tip. The car handles well with Koni strut/shocks and heavy duty springs, twin sway bars and polyurethane bushes. Wheels are 13 x 7" Performance Superlites, wrapped with 205/60 Hancooks. The inside is very comfy with a SAAS racing seat and wheel, CD player and all retrimmed in black and grey velour combo. Glenn's car is a daily driver and is great example of an RX4.
