| The Organization consists of students and
youth in the age group of 15 to 30. The MGOCSM-ANDHERI
incorporates the young students of our parish. Currently
there are around 50 members and around 20-25 are very
actively involved in the various activities that are
undertaken. |
| |
| Every year a secretary is chosen by
election or by common consent. Currently, K Markose is our
secretary. He is aided by Miss Nisha Paul, the Joint
Secretary. Miss Tina Varghese is the current treasurer. |
| |
| It's a privilege to have our member Mr.
Prakash Uthup as a member of the central Executive
committee of the MGOCSM Mumbai Diocese. |
| |
| The MGOCSM-ANDHERI
has a representative to the church central committee to
co-ordinate between the students and the parish committee.
The MGOCSM-ANDHERI also works hand in hand with the Youth
League of our parish which constitutes of the recently
married youth of the parish and whose organization also
has the same patron saint. |

| We have
formed several sub-committees to work effectively since
August 2002. The Website is handled primarily by Jomy. The
Yahoo group is maintained by Jomy and Relin. The Choir,
which is being beautifully taught by the Altar Assistant
Eby has gained a foothold by the efforts of Denzil and
Alina. There
is a proposal to start a regular magazine. Our senior
members like Geogy and Prakash take a lead in guiding
weekly discussions and Exegesis which is coordinated by
our Secretary Markose and our inspired charismatic Jt.
Secretary Nisha. The MGOCSM-ANDHERI along with the Youth
League of the parish organizes community events and does
fund raising through them. The Unit also plans House
Visiting over a period of two months in the vast parochial
area in order to bolster membership and to re-publish an
updated Parish Member Directory which is being ably led by
our parish Vicar, Rev. Fr. Koshy Alex himself. |
