THE MAME CABINET
HOME PAGE
my cabinet was built on a very limited budget and did not cost alot of money to build. the cabinet is 5 seperate parts that all disconnect from the other. this made building very simple and will make upgrading very easy.

1.MONITOR - i am using a 32in tv for the monitor. the monitor cab is 6 pieces of wood-top, bottom, l.side, r.side, l.front (where the left speaker is), r.front(right speaker). there is plexiglass over the monitor(i still haven't removed the blue covering).

2.MONITOR BASE - this is where the computor is and is 7 pieces of wood - l&r sides, front and front bottom, 2 pieces in the back and the back bottom. there are 2 vents one in the back and one on the front. the front has a lock where the computor is and can be taken off to access the computor.

3. COIN DOOR BASE - this is 5 pieces l&r sides, front(coin door - not installed yet), back and back connector (coin base to monitor base). this is where the rollout keyboard is and has three shelves in it(ps2, dreamcast and saturn are there). this is where the power strip toggle switch is(when flipped  the tv, speekers and black light for the marquee power up) and the power button for the computor is. this also has a lock on the front door and has a vent in the back.

4. CONTROL PANEL - this is 8 pieces top, bottom, l&r sides front and back and 2 angeled front pieces. the top is on hinges and flips up to access the wiring to the keyboard encoder(i-pac4). this is a 4 player setup with each player having 8 buttons, a coin in and a start button. there is 1 trackball(beston imperial) with 2 fire buttons on the left and 2 mouse buttons on the right 4 admin buttons(enter, pause, esc and tab). this makes 48 buttons on the panel. the controll panel is covered by 1/4 thick plexiglass.

5. MARQUEE - this has 4 pieces l&r sides, top and back. the front is 2 pieces of plexiglass with the marquee inbetween them. the 17" blacklight is also in here(the blacklight is not as bright and gives a nice effect in a darker room).
now to the games, this project is not complete by far and so all the emulators i want have not been loaded yet.
