Advance Wars: Units and Weapons Soliders: Infantry: Cheapest unit to deploy. Infactry can capture new bases, but not very strong firepower. Mechanized Infantry: Uses bazookas against vechiles. Strong against tanks, and able to capture new bases. Tanks Recon: Strong in combat against infantry units, also has a large movement range. Tank: A small inexpensive tank. It's strong and has a big movement range. Md Tank: Possesses the strongest offensive and defensive ratings amoung ground forces. APC*: Able to transport infantry and mech. units. Can also deliver fuel and ammo. APC's have no weapons. Mobile Artillery: An inexpensive indirect-combat unit. Can hits enemy units from a far away distance. Rocket Launcher:A powerful unit capable of firing on both ground and naval units from a distance. Anti-Air: A specialized unit that is strong against air, infantry, and mech units. Can't cope with tanks though. Missile: Wrecks havoc on air units. Has a large vision in Fog of War. Jets and copters Fighter: Rules the skies and inflicts heavy damage on other air units. Bomber: Inflicts BIG damage on both ground and naval units. Battle Copter: Can fire on many type of units, which makes it easy to deploy and invaluable on the battlefield. Transport Copter*: Can transport both infantry and mech units. It carries no weapons and cannot hit other units. Ships and subs Battle Ship: Has a big attack range. Its cannon does tremendous damage against other navy units. Cruiser*: Can do heavy damage to subs and air units. Can also transport up to two copters at a time. Lander*: Can carry up to two ground units. Sub: When submerged, can be attacked only by Cruisers. Find by colilding with it. |
