Mark's Traveling Passat
Many of these pictures were taken prior to my lowering spring installation, yet they show some of the places I have driven my Passat.  If you want to see pictures after the spring installation, please see my lowering spring page.

Each of these pictures is a thumnail image.  If you would like to see a larger picture, simply click on the thumbnail and a larger picture will load

This is one of my favorite pictures. This was taken at Papago Park in Phoenix around sunset. Papago Park is a great place to hike, climb, and mountain bike here in Phoenix.
This is a picture of my car after a trek up the Apache Trail from Phoenix to Roosevelt Lake in Arizona. The Apache trail, as you can see, is a very dusty road.
You'd never think it, but there are quite a few bugs in New Mexico.  I was without any windshield washer fluid on this trip.
I saw a little pullout on the road and thought this would be a good chance to take a picture of my car with some Yucca plants in southwestern New Mexico.
Here's my car at White Sands National Monument.  You can hardly tell the car is silver.  If you've never been to White Sands and you are driving though southern New Mexico, I suggest a quick visit.  It's worth it.
A New Mexico sunset.  Arizona's are just as nice.
My Passat on the sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.  I took a trip out to Lousiana this summer.  I saw an opportunity to drive on the beach and hopped at the chance.
Another Gulf of Mexico shot.  These were taken near Galveston, Texas.
Here's me standing next to my Passat.  My friend Geir and I had been driving for quite a while and used this opportunity to stretch our legs a bit.
