1986 Monte Carlo SS

I got these braces off a 4-door Olds that was below the Monte that I got the dash from. They have tightened up the front end more then I expected.

Another shot of both braces and of the addition light that I added on the hood. I can now see better at night. I'll eventually install a switch so that I can turn them off when the hood is going to be up for an extended period.

Here's the new dash that I installed from a junked LS. It's a little darker as you'll see in the next pic. Not sure if I'm going to paint it or leave it alone. I still have to install the vents on the passenger, I hadn't installed it because I was going to take it back out and paint it to match but I'm going to hold off for now.

The piece that is under the steering wheel is from the original dash. You can see that it is more of a blue gray and the new dash is more of a dark gray. Atleast there are no more cracks to look at.
