I purchased this wonderful unit at an estate sale across the street from my house. I got it for $100, and that includes the surround speakers and portable reel-to-reel tape player that sits in the compartment on the right side.

This photo is of the center compartment in this stereo, where the tuner is housed. Everything is in German! I it play FM radio stations but the other bands don't seem to be usable in the U.S. There is also a graphic equalizer and the "magic tuning eye."

This picture shows the inside of the right speaker well from the back. I detached the woofer from the front panel to determine the cause of distortion that's heard. As I suspected, the foam surround is nearly dicinigrated and needs to be replaced. I want to do it myself but simply don't have the time. I know once they are fixed, this console stereo will sound outstanding!

Here's a neat picture that shows the inside of the center well from the back. You can see the tuner and amplifer unit which contains numerous tubes. I was pleased that these all worked when I bought it.
This is a great stereo unit and I'm gald I spent the $100 for it. I hope to fix the woofers so I can use as it produces excellent sound. However, if nothing else, it's a great collectable for the electronic's enthusiast.
