Stunmeister's Scouting- Bob is a great minor league hockey player.  However, I think the height listing is very generous, as I think Bob is more in the 5'8" range.  He is a gritty player, who plays with heart beyond his size.  However, Bob is cursed as an NHL player.  Two things hinder him.  One is a reputation he earned long ago for being a solo guy, for not working hard.  Having seen him practice and play, this is hogwash, but reputations are hard to change in the eyes of NHL scouts.  Also, Bob is cursed by genetics.  The NHL is getting bigger, and that makes little guys like Bob harder to justify calling up.  Bob has been denied opportunities because of his size, and, even though it is unfair, Bob will probably never land in the NHL permanently.  It is a shame, because he has great touch and skating ability.  Maybe, if he worked on his leg strength, he could hold up those bigger guys like Theo Fleury does.  Until that happens, this is probably as high as Bobby will go.  The question for Ducks fans is will he be playing here next year?  He is a huge part of this team, and the only original duck still on The Cincinnati roster.  Maybe the organization will blunder and give up on him.  Maybe Bob is frustrated with Anaheim, either way, many are saying Bob is done with the eggplant and jade.  I however, hope he comes back.
