Stunmeister's Scouting- Giguere is the best goalie to play in Cincinnati since year 1 of the Ducks regime.  He is one of the most reknowned and regarded prospects in the position of goaltender.  He is a classic butterfly goalie, in the molding of his hero, Pat Roy, although without the "I know I am a god" attitude.  He is very humble and engaging, and was great to talk to after games.  He was his own worst critic.  Giguere, like Roy, has a tendency to wander away from the net, but he showed improvement in knowing when to leave the crease and when to stay.  He was good enough to remove Guy Hebert from the Ducks, and played well for an awful team down the stretch, registering four shutouts.  He was a tremendous, if underappreciated asset for the Ducks.  The fans were cold to him because he replaced incumbent Gregg Naumenko, but J.S. did it by outplaying Gregg and showcasing his skills.  J.S. is a excellent goalie who can handle the puck, and can dish out the attitude.  He gained some PIM for fighting and some other infractions for defending his crease.  Along with Naumenko, the future of the net in Anaheim is golden.  They make up one of the best crops of Goalie prospects on any one team.  Giguere was named AHL goalie of the month.
