Stunmeister's Scouting- Not one of my favs during the first half of his rookie season. However, Little Max grows on you.  He is rough and tumble, sacrificing his body night in and out, working the boards.  He is a grinder in a small package.  Some folks think being a grinder is lowbrow, but it is an integral part of the game.  When he is on, Max can both finesse and grind you to death.  He has a nice scoring touch, and he can hit harder for his size.  His weaknesses include his practice attitude and his on-ice mishaps.  Early in his rookie campaign, he was involved in a stick-swinging incident and was suspended.  That temper flares up occaisionally.  However, he earned most improved player this past season and has been working hard to earn more ice time.  Off-ice, he is extremely shy and often leaves games in a rush.  This is not because he is snobby or aloof, but rather because he is not so good at English yet, and he embarrasses easy.  He is very appreciative of his fans, however, and will stop and talk if not alot of people are around.  If he continues to develop patience and build his already great skill, it will not be long before he is in the NHL scoring goals.
