When I heard the News, it broke my heart...Adam was more than a young rising racecar driver, he was a great kid.  I had the opportunity to meet Adam when he came to Cincinnati for a driver appearance.  As few people knew about it, there were not that many people there to see him, more were there to see his dad, Kyle Petty.  Since the line was short, and since he looked bored and lonely, I figured I would talk to this kid.  Adam was so great, with that wonderful smile and that gleam in his eye.  We got to spend about 20-30 minutes just talking about life.  He wanted to know about college life, and we shared some testimony between us.  I will always hold this conversation with Adam dear to my heart, as only now does he know how much that talk meant to me, as even though he is four years younger, his words had profound impact on me.  I mourn his loss, but I rejoice that now he has been reunited with Lee Petty, and he is with our Lord Jesus even now, waiting for us.  Godspeed Adam, we love ya!!!!!!!!
