Tulewa was rushed to hospital in Bangkok in the middle of May. He had been ill for several weeks but it had been impossible to make a definite diagnosis. In Bangkok the doctors discovered he had Infection Related Hystiocytosis. This is a rare condition and the prognosis is not usually very good. Tulewa was critically ill for several weeks and ended up staying in Chulalongkorn Hospital for three months altogether. He has been home since mid August and has made an amazing recovery. He has gained weight and is back at school catching up with his work. The doctors were so happy with him at his last check up that they have said they do not need to see him for another year. Thanks need to go to all those who prayed for Tulewa's recovery and sent gifts to help with the costs of his treatment.
