| Meet the still growing staff of writers and contributors to the Home Town Sports Page. Without these people's time and efforts, the site would probobly still be possible, but it wouldn't be nearly as good without them. Let's meet some of them. | |||||||||
| MICHAEL FRAZIER I'm 17 and currently reside in Wentzville, MO. The Boss, The Creator I grew up a Cub fan in the North Central part of Indiana, and also a Notre Dame fan. ND Football was like a religion up there. If you didn't like it, you didn't exist to the other people. We moved to St. Louis in 1990. Hockey was new, but i just couldn't click with the Cardinals. Yeah, they're alright, but i remain a north-sider at heart. Not big on the Rams either, i went the way of the Chief (K.C. Chiefs) and Da' Bears. The whole Islanders and Wild thing is a bit inexplicable, but sometimes, you just jump on a banwagon, and never wanna seem to get off. I liked the Wild when they first existed, but when OZZIE went to the Island, they got good, so I got on....the wagon. But i will always love Blues hockey, through the rough times and bad. A partial season ticket holder, i try to make as many games as I can. If i have time, i will add Mizzou Football and Basketball in the fall. Enjoy the site folks! |

| Robbie Patterson, Trash & Bash 16 Resident of the hellatious city known as Akron, OH (NO, I DON'T KNOW LEBRON. I WILL SAY IT NOW, I M AN ELLET ORANGEMAN AND F*** LEBRON AND ST V ST M. **I play baseball for Ellet High School**) Being that I reside from Ohio and have lived here my whole life, I will say that i am a HARD CORE OHIO STATE FAN!! Been one since Eddie George was running in the backfield for OSU in '95. I'm also an Akron Zips fan. I have been a Browns fan before. There was a Ravens and Cavs fan before Lebron was ever even mentioned. (If you didn't notice, I woulda been a Cavs fan from day 1). I'm also a NASCAR fan. I have deep deep love for the sport and I hope that if you don't LIKE it, atleast RESPECT it. I'm into Arena Football and the TAMPA BAY STORM! I'm part of a movement for an AFL or AFL2 team in Akron. Now, before you say, "Robbie, you didn't say what baseball team you liked" here it is....I'm a CUBS FAN. Yes, the ulcers and pain of not making the playoffs are tough to stand, but I love 'em. The story is odd on how I liked the Cubs. It was the summer of '94, yes, the strike year. It was the first time I ever really payed attention to baseball. I'd just look all day for a game that was on. The Cubs were on (WGN of course) so I watched them. I still remember watching it as one of the Cubs hit a homerun onto Waveland Ave. and i thought it was the greatest thing I had ever seen. From then I was hooked. Well, that's me and I would like to say I am pleased to provide my comments and insight on sports issues that arise. |

| KEVIN BLAIR . Currently I am a 17 year old resident of Kev's Cards Corner Wentzville, Missouri. This fall I will be a senior at Wentzville Holt High School. My passions are music and sports. I am a drum major in the marching band at Holt High and I also play Clarinet, and Alto and Tenor Saxophone. As far as sports, there are very few I don't like. My favorite by far is baseball. I live and die with the St. Louis Cardinals which is why I chose to cover them for The Home Town Sports Page. For the most part I stick with my home teams, Cards, Rams, Blues, and Mizzou. However Mike has somehow gotten me hooked on Notre Dame football and I also like the Oklahoma Sooners. As you could probably figure, being the Cardinals lover that I am, I am definately not a Cubs fan like the two afore mentioned knuckleheads. Somehow Mike thinks he can live in St. Louis and be a Cubs fan. If there is anything you would like to see added to Kev's Cards Corner just drop me a line in the guestbook. As hockey and football season rolls around I will also be helping keep up with the Rams and Blues progress. I hope you enjoy my work and I look forward to providing you with the most up to date information on the Cardinals. |
