These two beauties belong to lmarks from The Fool.  I know lmarks in real life, she is a wonderful lady.  She used to help me with projects at the Science Center where I used to work.   She lives in the same area as me and helps monitor  an investment club board on the Fool.

Here in her own words is her introduction to her kitties:

The calico cat is MeiMei.  (It's 'little sister' in Chinese.)  She was attacked by some kids on her first Halloween.  A friend found her trapped under a railroad tie, with some singed fur the next day.  She was very tiny - in fact she used to slip down the holes in our wood floors where the radiator water pipes go through.  No danger of that now.  Her favorite food is popcorn.  And her favorite game is tub hockey.  She plays with a metal drain screen in the bathtub.  It makes lots of noise, and never gets lost.  She taught our other kittie this game too.

The black and white cat is Monocle.  Monocle has only one good eye.  She started life as a barn cat, and loved to run around with horses and Great Danes.  She was kicked by a horse and lost sight in one eye and had some sinus problems when she was growing up.  (We used to call her Boogers.)  The little girl who was going to adopt her didn't want a damaged cat - our gain.  She has some type of arthritic disease - our vet has found mention of only one other cat with this syndrome.  So she's on an immune system depressant - so we can't take in any more cats while she's still with us.
Guess what?

UPDATE on Linda!

In her own words :

I knew you'd appreciate my news.  I've had a cat living in my garage and started feeding her about 2 months ago.  Saturday she is scheduled to go to the vet to be tested for FeLV and FeAids.

This morning, as I was bringing food to the garage I got introduced to six kittens!  My husband and I thought we were feeding our garage cat too much because she'd been putting on weight most noticeably the past two weeks! (Aren't we dumb - but then again it's not the usual kitten season).

So - we're still going to the vet Saturday.  I've moved the cat (who finally earned a name - Topaz) into the home office with her kittens - sequestered from my two house cats.
