Chartreux Kitten
This is a Chartreux kitten that belongs to Crosenfield from the Motley Fool.
She shows them as a hobby and as a result has to breed them occasionally.
This little guy is already sold.  They are a rare breed from France.
Here is her own words about their history:

He is a Chartreux, an ancient natural breed that probably came to France from perhaps Syria  in the middle ages.  The cats distinguished themselves as ratters.  These cats do not "play  cat and mouse" torturing their prey.  They have  very strong neck muscles.  They grab a rat, mouse, or squirrel by the back of the head and just jerk  those powerful neck muscles, breaking the neck  of the prey as the body flips over the cat's shoulder.

The Chartreux were plentiful in France until about World War II, when economic conditions were so
bad the French ate them almost to extinction.  The Chartreux is now considered an endangered species
in France. Their love of people was their undoing--very easy to catch!

Charles deGaulle had two; the French author Colette had several.

This kitten doesn't yet have the copper eyes he will  have when he is older, but his coat is starting to break
like a sheepskin and to show the silver tipping it will develop as he matures.
