Storyline:

The basic storyline for Fullmetal Alchemist is the two brother searching for an elusive stone called the Philopsher's stone, but there so much more than that. The story begins with the Elric brothers trying to revive their mother with alchemy that they learned through there dad and reading books. They attempted a forbidden transmutation called human transmutation. Unfortunatly there attempt horribly failed. They were not able to bring back their mother but both brothers lost something as well. In Alchemy, the is the rule of Equivelent Exchange, you must give something in order to get something. Well in the failed exchange, Ed lost his left leg and Al lost his entire body. Ed managed to save Al's spirit and placed into a suit of armor through a Blood Seal,, but because of Equivelent Exchange, he lost his right arm in order to save Al. After meeting a State Alchemist named Mustang, Ed desides to join the State Alchemist in order to find a way to bring back and restore Al, his limbs, and his mother. Ed finds out about a powerful stone that will help him in his restoration quest. The stone, known as the Philospher's Stone, allows the user to defy and break the rule of Equivelent Exchange.
