Don Hiller is our Sparky Director. He leads the Boys
and Girls from
Kindergarten through second grade.
The Sparks night is split into three parts
Counsel time, Book
time and Game time
Counsel time: Is when
the Sparks receive a scripture based lesson and sing songs.
Book time: Is the main
event in the night and is when Sparks recite the verses that they have
memorized during the week. verses are based on either king james or new
king james versions. and gain difficulty as the clubber gets older.
Game time: Is when the
Sparkys play games designed by AWANA to be fun and promote team work. as
well as prepare for the AWANA olympics when area churchs join to compete
with each other.
