Crazy Angie
When asked to write about a childhood memory that occurred at our childhood home, I know exactly what I was going to write about, my crazy neighbor Angie.
I have had several exciting encounters with Angie, but I will always remember the day she moved next door. She and her mother came over to greet my family, and my initial reaction towards her was that girl is a little wired. I thought nothing of it till I was roller skating in the street, it was my first time skating with out any brakes and I was trying to go slow. Crazy Angie ran out of her house, grabbed a stick and tripped me. I was shocked that this girl who was 14 at the time ran out of her house and hurt me. I came to the conclusion that something has to be wrong with this girl, but that was not the last time I had to deal with her.
Months later I was outside playing basketball minding my own business when Angie came out of her house looking upset and mad. I asked her what was wrong and she said My pet Anaconda snake got loose last night and is now in the in the bush between are house. I know from the movie that Anacondas eat people, I screamed like a little school girl after watching a scary movie and ran inside my house. I was afraid to leave my house for days. I once again attempted to stay away from crazy Angie for as long as I could.
A couple of years later was the final time that Crazy Angie and I had an encounter. I was over her house hanging out with her cousin, we were playing basketball and the ball hit her boy friends car and Angie came running out of the house and said Im going to kill you. She grabbed a bat and ran after me. I got home and hide in the garage. I heard he banging on the garage door so hard like thunder during a rain storm. I stayed in my garage for 2 hours and when I heard the banging stop I got out. I stayed away from her house for as long as I could.
Today crazy Angie still lives at the same house; she is now married with two kids. Every time I see her I look away and try not to make eye contact with her.
