Joel Plys and Valerie Salstrom will be teaching a Jitterbug and Balboa Workshop on Saturday, August 17 in Columbus, Ohio. Ticket price is just $45, and it includes all of the following: Jitterbug Lesson from 12:30 to 1:30,
Balboa I from 1:45 to 2:45; Balboa II from 3 to 4; Informal Dinner at
4 p.m.; West Coast Swing Lesson by Dave Alkire from 6 to 7; Dancing
from 7 to 11.

organization of dancers, musicians, and volunteers
are from a variety of locations throughout Western
Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio.
Dedicated to helping the hep get
hep-er, turnin' squares into alligators, and having
one barrel- house mezz of a time, MezzJelly works
to educate with, for, and about the music's effect
on the dancer, and the dancer's effect on the
music of Jazz, Blues, Swing, Ragtime, Harlem,
slave era dances & more.
MezzJelly also handles special events
of dance and/or music, band bookings and event
publicity in the Pittsburgh and nearby areas through
its team of dancers and musicians dedicated to
the enjoyment of both together.
