| One Voice One voice spoke to me. It spoke as if to know me. As if it knew my soul and what it longed for. This wasn't a voice I knew, But it was a voice I wanted to know. One voice out of the crowd stands out in my mind. A voice that spoke with such eloquence and devotion. This voice spoke to me and no one else. This voice helped me realize that I wasn't alone. This voice comforted me when I was down. This voice laughed when I was happy. A voice that belonged to a stranger. A stranger that knew my deepest fears and needs. The more I heard this voice the more I knew; It's not a voice of a stranger, But a voice of someone who cares for me. This voice belongs to you. You are the one I need. The one that knows me inside and out. I never know that a voice Could be so comforting and loving as yours. Yours is the voice I long to hear when I awake in the morning. Your voice is what I long to hear when I got to bed. Your voice is the voice I want to hear for the rest of my life. |
