BARCELONA (3 Jan - 7 Jan)
Barcelona is in Spain... in case some of you don't know. 1992's Olympic was held here and the climate is definitely milder as compared to UK. So it's actually a relieve from the bitter cold winter in UK. I enjoy myself thoroughly... very tiring though. Their architecture design is just simply out of this world... you can find them no where else other than, of course, Barcelona.
First day in Barcelona. Came to this place after checking into the hotel.
Placa de Catalunya... something like London's Trafalgar Square...... lot's of pigeons... mm, will be nice to boil them for soup. They are really fat!!!
Have to wash hands after feeding the pigeons... dirty birds. On second thought, I'm not boiling them.
There was a live band playing at the back... this old man just pointed at me and ask me for a dance. Whatever lah... no one other than my friends knows me anyway.
La Rambla, a whole stretch of street with a lot of stuff to see. There are tonnes of newstands here... so no worries of buying postcards.
Trying to imitate the sculpture above us... iron lady... yeah!!!
One of those funny designs that only this particular Spanish guy (Antoni Gaudi) can think of. His work is very very very well known in the whole of Spain. It's always a wonder to me how can he think of such creative (nicer word) designs... on a less nice tone... weird designs!!!! But don't be surprised cause Barcelona is almost infested with his architecture designs.
