Mike Meyer

The Meyer Racing Team was in action at Eagle Raceway Saturday night.  A double

 feature night was scheduled, due to the "ICE BREAKER CHALLENGE" being rained out

the past two weeks.  The "ICE BREAKER CHALLENGE" was the first feature with a payout

$1500 to the winner.  Mike was leading the way until he tangled with Jon Schwartz

in late stages of the race. Mike was penalized for aggressive driving and was sent to the

back.  With four laps remaining Mike was able to salvage a 11th place finish.  Meyer wouldn't

be denied a victory, he returned and won his heat, running strong.  The "A" feature was

Shortened to 15 lap feature.  Mike began in back of the pack, worked his way to second

place.  With four laps remaining, a yellow flag flew,  the restart Mike drove right underneath

Greg Buker to take the lead.  Mike ended up winning it by about four car lengths to take

home his first feature win of the season.  Meyer Racing Team will be back in action Thursday

at Eagle Raceway for THURSDAY THUNDER.  Friday, we will travel out to the new Nebraska

Raceway for a special show with the OUTLAWS.  Saturday will be at the Breatice Speedway with

some of the great drivers such as Kavin Larkins,  "THE JET" Satthoff.
