        The family�s main means of living is jewelry making since many of the family members have worked from different other shops in Meycauayan. From this, Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin dela Pedra, parents of Adam dele Pedra had decided to put up even a small shop in Saluysoy, Meycauayan, Bulacan. Their first workers were also members of the family. While their children are studying, they were also thought of how the business works and they also learned how to make sets of jewelry. From this, they earn money while they were studying. When they finished college, they set forth working in the shop and earned more money as well as more customers and contacts. Until now, mostly all in the family is into the business. Now, Mr. Adam dela Pedra handles the shop in Meycauayan and also one in Marilao.

        Capital is the primary problem of this business. It needs a big amount to set up a complete jewelry shop. Many tools and equipment are needed for jewelry production. Gold and other components are quite expensive. You need to have a shop where many people could see it and be easily noticed. But you have to be sure about your shop�s security. You have to be a good conversationalist and you have to know how to promote your product in such a way that they would understand how valuable your product is, considering who people are intimidated upon hearing �jewelry� because they thought it was really expensive.         The subject of exporting started when one customer coming from abroad ordered a set of jewelry and wedding bands. The orders were brought to them through a private customer. Since then, they send orders and samples through this and the market grew from there.

        Gold, silver, stones and other components are bought from other shops and suppliers. The shop is buys from other bigger shops as their source.


Market:

        Their market also comes from their fellow jewelry agents. These agents get orders from their own customers that the shop produces for marketing. They also have direct customers who come to them directly. Orders also come in and were brought from different places. They also have customers from farther parts of the country as well as from outside of the country.
