The Mexico State Society was organized in 1976 and has four chapters,
with a fifth chapter being organized in the state of
Sonora. Our associate members are an integral part of our
success, with their financial and volunteer support, making our
educational outreach programs to women and children possible. Our
annual State Conference and post-conference tours are well-attended by
our members and associate members, from the United States and around
the world.
Our membership is steadily growing with
many retirees move into various areas of the country, where we welcome
them into membership. In addition, we work with the Spanish Task Force
and local researchers to invite all eligible prospective members to
join our chapters. Many of our members speak Spanish, and can assist
prospective members in translating their documents and help them to
trace their ancestors back to the
American Revolution
We are currently in the process of
organizing San Carlos Chapter in San Carlos , Sonora .
Prospective members are encouraged to
contact us to determine what chapter might be the closest and most
convenient.
Please click on one of the chapters for
further information or send us a
general email. We look forward to assisting you with your
application to membership in the Mexico State Society, DAR.
