Nirvana was born in Seattle, with an independent small company (bub-pop) they started to be knowed for their album "Bleach" (1989), but when they really got international fame was with "Nevermind"(1991), the most sold album in the 90's, that also is now by the influence for many of the groups we listen now for example Kittie, Silverchair, Korn or even the Smashing Pumpkins and others, Nirvana satrted with other groups like Pearl Jam and the Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains the Grunge stuff,
with very depresive lyrics writen by Kurt, Nirvana got the number one in all the top tens with their hit "Smells Like Teen Spirit", they went on tour,after years, they recorded their last studio album "In Utero"(1993), like they did with all their albums, they went on tour, their song "Heart Shaped Box" was an other hit, and in 1994 they recorded the "MTV Unplugged in New York"(1994), Kurt seemed to be "happy" during the show,
but it had to end somehow, and in the 8 of April of 1994 the news started like this "rock star dead", Kurt Cobain was dead, he shoot himself with a shootgun in the face the 5 of April.
A genius was gone but the Nirvana influence still alive in many songs we hear daily. Kurt say it on one of his songs "rather be dead than cool" (Stay Away, Nevermind). Thatīs why I hate the backstreet gays.(boys?)
