Relient K

A little background info...
About four years ago, 3 guys from Canton,OH began with the hopes of forming a band in the name of rock and roll. Brian Pittman, Matt Hoopes, and Matt Thiesson set out under the name Relient K, soon found their drummer David Douglas, and began touring with the help of Gotee Records. The group has put out two full records: Relient K (self-titled) and The Anatomy of the Tongue in Cheek with the scheduled release of their third album, Two Lefts DOn't make a Right, but Three Do coming soon. The group has also put out a third pre-release CD known as The Employee of the Month. For full news on touring and more about the band, visit their website...

Five Iron Frenzy

Fun facts about Five Iron Frenzy...
The group is made up of eight members. Playing a mix between the musical genres of punk rock and ska, the band consists of Micah and Sonnie on guitar, Jeff the girl on Saxaphone, Reese on vocals, Dennis on trombone, Keith on bass guitar, Andy on drums, and Brad as a back-up singer. They've produced 6 albums including Upbeats and Beatdowns, Our Newest Album Ever, Quantity is Job 1, Proof the Youth are Revolting, All the Hype That Money Can Buy, and Electric Boogaloo. Several members of the group also joined together to put together a side project more on the serious side, under the name Brave Saint Saturn. Right now the group is taking a little break from touring, but will be back soon just as fun-loving as ever!

Superchic[k]

What is a Superchic[k]?
Superchic[k] \ Superchic[k]\ (s p r- ch k) n. (1) Either whoevers in Superchic[k]s van when it leaves. (2) Gender-neutral term for someone who is figuring out the path to greatness that God intended for them. Plural: Superchic[k]s. Syn: Karaoke Superstar. See also: Barlow Girl.
The group Superchic[k] is another 8-member band, but this time the lead singers are the only 2 females in the group- Tricia and Melissa (who also happen to be sisters). Their style is described as a mix between "pop-punk, hip-hop, disco-funk, garage band with something to say and pyro to prove it." They are awesome in concert and very nice people too :)!

Tree63

Yeah, just a little info...
Well, I had to include this group since they did come from South Africa, the beloved place of one of my best friends in the whole world :). They are also very nice people and have the coolest accents. They've produced two records: Tree63 (self-titled) and their most recent CD, The Life and Times of Absolute Truth. They are working on making their music more available in their home country of South Africa and recently toured under Festival Con Dios, stopping at major cities all across the US. Definately a worship-ful band and great to listen to... check them out online or when they come to a city nearby!
