What is a goth?

The first use of the term "Goth" in its present meaning was on a British Broadcasting Commission (BBC) TV program. Anthony H. Wilson, manager of Joy Division described the band as Gothic compared with the pop mainstream. The name stuck. Goth has no real definition, but a lot of stereotypes. Goth is usually associated with all black clothing, depression, and an obsession with death, or supernatural and mystical. Goth has also been wrongly associated with witchcraft and Satanism. Although some Goths may incorporate these things into their gothic nature, it is not what Goth is defined by. In all actuality a real Goth won't say he or she is Goth because they dont wish to conform to any group, even Goth. I say I'm a Goth, but thats only because I fit into no other stereotype, so when I'm asked, I give the most accurate answer I can, I'm a Goth/ freak/ punk mix, which results in me, Jazzmine!
Here are some deffinitions of goth I've gathered
