This page is no longer needed, seeing as the war is pretty much over and we won, and all the arguments against war were proven wrong.... but seeing as there will be arguements saying that we shouldnt have done it, i will leave it up for awhile, we are now getting ready to invade Syria, because we believe they are harboring Iraqi leaders, fun fun fun....

First of all, everyone has a right to their own opinion, but at least have some knowledge of what the hell you are talking about when you protest against something!!!!! most of the people that I have met are anti war because they dont know what the hell they are talking about, the poor ignorant fools have been misinformed. now that I have gotten that out of the way, let me enlighten you on the reasons behind my own opinion...

now that we are at war, none of this really maters, but im going to leave this up for you to argue with me about for awhile.... say what you will... i will take no offense...

arguments I've heard from people who are anti-war, and my response:

There is no world support for a war on Iraq.
This is not at all true, the majority of the world will supports us in the war against Iraq. Britain has sent troops in, many countries surrounding Iraq are allowing up to mobilize and train troops overseas, and allowing us to set up airforce bases within their borders.

We need the support of France and Germany to win this war. Do you know the last time either of these countries did anything really significant? it was a LONG LONG LONG time ago. France's last great leader was Napoleon, back around the time Jefferson was president.... we need them why? the only reason that France doesnt want war is because they just spent a bunch of money to build a pipe line in Iraq, and they dont want it destroyed. As for Germany i will say this, the government may not support the US in war, but its people certainly do. The German people are very proud of their military and are upset with their government for not taking the opportunity to make use of it.

People will die.
Let's think about this..... people die everyday... in car accidents, fires, of disease, famine hunger, etc., etc., etc. People will die anyway. would you rather sacrifice 1 life for 1000, or 1000 for 1? in an ideal world we could avoid civilian casualties, and for that matter in a perfect world we could avoid casualties period, but this is not an ideal world. it is a horrible consequence of war, but it is also a part of daily life. For the most part, those called to war have gone into the military voluntarily, and they know that there is always a possibility of war.
