Kathy is a Polish exchange student at Sawdust University. Everyone knows her as an effervescent young lady, but she is really hiding a terrible secret. She is in love with her electronics professor, The Professor. She longs for the semester to end so she can return to her native Poland, forget about her inappropriate feelings, and spend the holiday doing needlepoint. Her one consolation in life is her delightful built in music box, which can play tunes in the voices of guitar, calliope, and slide whistle.
