For those traveling by air, you have three options to the NY Metropolitan Area:

Airport Shuttle Transportation

Least Expensive Option...
For the slightly more adventurous, many airport shuttles travel to Manhattan's Grand Central Station for $10-12pp. Or in some cases, you can hop on a bus or subway train (for $1.50pp) into Grand Central. Click on "Public Transportation" link on the airport websites for details.
