In contrast, Islamists, as a cornerstone of their stated faith, believe in world conquest. Islamists view the portion of the world that has not submitted to their rule as the Dar es Harb or the world of war. They are commanded by their faith to conduct Jihad, or war, against the non-Islamic world until they achieve Dar es Salaam, or a world of peace. This is the term they use to describe a utopian world under the Islamic scimitar.
Response:
Nothing could be further than the truth. In Islam all believing righteous people have a place with God and they are guaranteed rewards for their good deeds. Muslims are taught to respect these people and no greater proof of how they should be regarded than what the Quran itself says of believing Christians, Jews and others in the following verses and many similar verses throughout the Quran:
"Those who believe (in the Quran)
And those who follow the Jewish (Scriptures)
And the Christians and the Sabians, -
ANY who believe in God
And the Last Day,
And work righteousness,
Shall have their reward
With their Lord: on them
Shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve." Surah 2:62
The Quran recognizes the universal goodness of all people and religions. Instead of fighting and dominating those people Islam enjoins Muslims to be one with those people and recognize that God will reward them for their good deeds. The life of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) is well documented. There are numerous examples showing how he dealt with the pagans and Jews in Arabia who were his enemies. He never aggressed on them, he established treaties with them and even when the pagans and Jews broke their treaties, attacked the Muslims and lost in their battles against the Muslims the Prophet allowed them to live freely as long as they respected to live in peace. It was because of the humane treatment by Muslims to all that the whole Arabian Peninsula in time converted to Islam.
The ones Muslims are to fight are clearly identified as in the following verses:
"Fight in the cause of God
Those who fight you,
But do not transgress limits;
For God loveth not transgressors. (2:190)
"And slay them
Wherever ye catch them,
And turn them out
From where they have
Turned you out;
For tumult and oppression
Are worse than slaughter;
But fight them not
At the Sacred Mosque
Unless they (first)
Fight you there;
But if they fight you,
Slay them.
Such is the reward
Of those who suppress faith. (2:191)
"But if they cease,
God is Oft-forgiving
Most Merciful. (2:192)
Also history shows that it was not the Muslims that went to Christian Europe under a banner of a holy crusade to dominate them. It was the Christians who went to Muslim lands. The Muslims fought in self defence much like what they are doing in Palestine, Chechnya, Afghanistan and Iraq today.

The Socialists also believe in world conquest as an article of faith. They view the portion of the world that has not submitted to them as "reactionary" and "oppressive." They feel commanded by "science" to engage in "struggle" to achieve what they refer to as a progressive world. In the name of this elusive progress they have murdered, according to the Black Book of Communism, over 100 million people this last century.
Islamic doctrine is filled with references to Jihad. An example was the Sept. 11 attack on the twin towers in New York. Such an audacious frontal assault on the Dar el Harb, they believe, will de-stabilize the nation they call the "great Satan." They consider killing "infidels" to be humane and even a sacred act in the performance of Jihad, which is why they are prone to shout "Allahu Akbar!" as they grab the controls of an airplane.
Response:
The reverence for life and the conditions by which life can be taken are specified very clearly in the Quran. Here are a few verses illustrating this:
“…if anyone slew a person unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if anyone saved a life it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people...” (5:32)
“Unto God belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He giveth life and He taketh it. Except for Him ye have no protector nor helper.” (9:116)
“Kill not your children for fear of want: We shall provide sustenance for them as well as for you. Verily the killing of them is a great sin. Nor come nigh to adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road (to other evils). Nor take life - which God has made sacred - except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand qisas or to forgive.)” Quran (17:31-33)
No where in the Quran are Muslims endorsed to wage war against others just because they don’t believe in Islam. The endorsement to fight is always against those who are committing wrongs and for self defense. Life is considered to be very sacred in Islam. God is the Author of life and in Islam only He can take life and give the conditions by which life can be taken. The above verses are very clear about what those conditions are. There are many places in the Quran where Muslims are specifically commanded to fight in self defence and to protect the weak and oppressed. One can search the whole Quran and look at every verse regarding fighting and war and never will the waging of war for conquest or the killing of innocent lives be endorsed. Compare that to the Bible and the Talmud.

Socialist doctrine is also filled with justifications for violence and war as a means of achieving political ends. The color red, which is the international socialist color, stands for the human blood that they will shed in order to induce the "birth pangs" of the new Socialist reality. To achieve their goals they "bore from within" by infiltrating and subverting nations. They divide and conquer and foment instability and violence. Upon seizing power they routinely exterminate their opposition. Since they refuse to recognize the existence of truth or morality, only "socialist" truth, they consider such extermination to be justified.
The great American experiment is whether or not mankind is capable of exercising his God given potential for self-rule. The Islamist and Socialist rejects this as even a possibility. America is the last great hope for mankind as peoples of the world, whether stated or implied, covet our freedom and seek to emulate it. The biggest mistake we could make in these dangerous times is to imbibe Islamist/Socialist propaganda that seeks to tear us down in the eyes of the world and tear at the very fabric of our domestic freedom with their acts of war, both overt and subtle. Mankind is depending on our ability to stand up and be ourselves.
The writer should not confuse Islam with Socialism or even mention them in the same breadth. Bolshevism, Communism, Socialism are the creation of Jews. Karl Marx was from a family that had a long tradition of Rabbis. If you ever study what a sect of the Jews known as Sadducees believed you would see that Socialism is no more than the doctrine of the Sadducees made public. The massacre of millions especially in Russia were done by Jews under the banner of Bolshevism. There are too many differences between Socialism and Islam and one of the main ones is that Socialism is Godless whereas Islam is not.
The Quran states the following regarding man’s creation: “…We have indeed created man in the best of moulds…” (95:4) The actual Arabic word used is mumtaz which is a word that is also translated to mean excellent. Muslims understand this to mean that God created the human being morally, mentally and spiritually in the most excellent forms. As such the human beings goal is to “strive as in a race to achieve the goal of excellence in life”. The pursuit of life, liberty and happiness are all excellent goals that the Quran endorses the human being to achieve. This concept of man is very different from the Christian’s wherein man is described as being born in sin and destined to do evil by nature.
Muslims believe that the idea of man and freedom in the Constitution is more in line with the Islamic idea of man than the Christian idea of man. The freedom to pursue life, liberty and excellence are ideas espoused in the Quran. The founding fathers like James Madison and Thomas Jefferson were very acquainted with Islam. It is a known fact that Thomas Jefferson "borrowed" many of his ideas for the Declaration of Independence from John Locke. As it turns out, Locke had a degree in Arabic Studies from Oxford University and "borrowed" many of his ideas from the Qur'an.
For the true liberation of the human being in Islam the words are stated in the first chapter and the most often repeated prayer of the Muslims, "Thee Alone do we worship, and Thee Alone do we seek for aid." By giving that type of devotion to the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Supreme Being, the All Powerful and All Knowing God, Islam negates the possibility of anything else in creation being gods or forces for the human being to submit to. More than anything this guarantees the human being his God given right for self rule and recognizes that not other men but only God is who he should submit his whole self to.
Many Muslims believe that the Declaration of Independence of the USA was in reality no more than a discovery of many of the major and basic principles given in the Quran. When Thomas Jefferson wrote down the Declaration of Independence, he was influenced by the natural rights theories of John Locke. John Locke wrote "Just governments are founded on consent and are designed solely to protect the people in their inherent rights to life, liberty, and property." A great statement indeed and here are some quotes from the Quran showing that these ideas existed there more than a thousand years ago:
1. The idea of consent in the Quran:
In Quran, 3:159, God told Muhammed, and those who will follow him, " ...and consult them (the people). Once you make a decision, carry out your plan, and trust in God. God loves those who trust Him."
In 42:38 God is describing the qualities of the true Muslims:
"They respond to their Lord by observing the contact prayers. Their affairs are decided after due CONSULTATION among themselves, and from our provisions to them they give."
2. Guarantee of freedom of religion in Quran:
In 2:256: "Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in God hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And God heareth and knoweth all things.”
“Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions.” (16:97)
3. Right to life and sacredness of life for all human beings in Quran:
6:151: " Say, "Come let me tell you what your Lord has really prohibited for you: You shall not set up idols besides Him. You shall honor your parents. You shall not kill your children from fear of poverty - we provide for you and for them. You shall not commit gross sins, obvious or hidden. You shall not kill - GOD has made life sacred - except in the course of justice. These are His commandments to you, that you may understand."
4. Right to both men AND women to own property:
4:7 :"…men get a share of what the parents and the relatives leave behind. The women too shall get a share of what the parents and relatives leave behind. Whether it is a small or a large inheritance, (the women must get) a definite share."
5. Right to a life of liberty without oppression:
2:193: "And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in God. But if they cease, Let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression.”
6. Right to the pursuit of happiness and achievement of good in this life
2:148: “To each is a goal to which God turns him; then strive together (as in a race) Towards all that is good…”
These are the basic democratic principles that were discovered in The Declaration of Independence of the United States of America more than a thousand years after God gave them to Muslims in the Quran.
It is interesting to know that most of the so called Muslim Countries failed to uphold these Quranic democratic principles. For example, everybody in a Muslim country should have had the freedom to believe in anything without any compulsion or oppression. God permits all people of all religions to live freely in a true Muslim society, but that is not what is happening. The Declaration of Independence of USA guaranteed that basic Quranic principle. When you consider that the Muslim countries have been under colonial rule for hundreds of years and many of them did not become free or were even born as countries less than 60 years ago it helps to give perspective to that world. Today we see many monarchies in the Muslim world. A monarchy as a form of government is not Islamic. The monarchies and dictatorships in Muslim land are no more than copies of the European monarchies that Muslim lands were subjected to under colonial rule.
In the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) he demonstrated the democratic principle by not deciding on issues affecting the whole Muslim Community by himself. Whenever there was something affecting the whole Muslim Community he took it before the people for decision. Whatever the majority decision was is what he followed even if the majority disagreed with his own personal decision. There are numerous well documented examples in the life of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) regarding this.
