A LETTER TO A
NEWSPAPER STAFF WRITER

First off, I would like to congratulate you on your article concerning Obama's candidacy. I don't care if he's black, white, african-american, indian (whom some STILL call "red-man"), or any other nationality.

What this Nation needs, is someone that is going to deal with REALITY as it is, NOT as it was.

I would really like to know what Mr. Obama's solutions/answers to my points and questions listed here would be, and I want HONEST answers. I have yet to see or hear any presidential candidate NOT LIE about what they plan to do once in office. I want HONESTY finally fulfilled. I DON'T WANT BULLSHIT, like we have had for the last 100 years AND MORE.

I'm tired of presidential candidates who say they will do one thing, then turn around after getting elected into office, and do the complete opposite of what they said they would do.

I'm tired of being POOR in this country, and NOBODY from this country even CARING about ANY OF ITS OWN POOR CITIZENS, ESPEICALLY CHILDREN, ELDERLY, & HANDICAPPED people. This country needs to start caring about its own people, and leave the other countries to themselves, and let them work out their own battles. GET OUR KIDS OUT OF THOSE OTHER COUNTRIES, GET OUR CHILDREN HOME WHERE THEY BELONG, AND START WORKING ON GETTING THE GHETTO RIDDEN, STREET RIDDEN POOR OF OUR OWN NATION INTO ADIQUATE HOUSING, ADIQUATE CLOTHING, ADIQUATE JOBS, the list goes on and on.

This country is so NOT interested in its own people, that it just passed a LAW that ILLEGAL ALIENS CAN GET SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS, EVEN THOUGH THEY NEVER EVEN WORKED FOR IT & THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY THAT HAVE WORKED FOR IT, GET LESS THAN WHAT THEY ARE DUE, BECAUSE (and you can look this up as well) THE GOVERNMENT STUCK ITS NOSE INTO THE SOCIAL SECURITY POT AND DECIDED TO TAKE WHAT THEY WANT OF IT, EVEN THOUGH THE "CONSTITUTION" DOES "NOT" GIVE THEM THE RIGHT TO TAKE IT.

I was pointing out issues that were raised in your article to a friend of mine, and believe me, it took me quite a while for him to see my point of view on it, but I finally got through to him, at least I hope I did anyhow.

You bring up a lot of good points that actually need looking into, that have never been looked into at all.

Not only has the "slavery" issue been kept open for years beyond when it should have been closed, but what about the Indians. The people that were actually here BEFORE everyone else was here?

People don't realize HOW MUCH land that we actually TOOK/STOLE from the Indians of this Nation of ours. Not to mention the fact that WE "whites" are the ones that first MADE the blacks slaves. Abraham Lincoln abolished slavery, and I agree with his decision. There shouldn't have been slavery in the first place, just like there shouldn't have been any taking of land that didn't rightfully belong to us from the Indians.

If people would open their eyes and see what THEY ARE TEACHING the children of today, maybe there wouldn't be kids going to jail or prison for murder with guns, knives, drugs of all kinds, killing for the fun of it, gangs, etc. All of what the kids of today are learning, is nothing but pure BULLSHIT. These kids need to learn the TRUTH about the land they live in, that is SUPPOSED to be FREE.

We are no more free now, than the blacks were before Abraham Lincoln became president. In my opinion, we have gotten to be more like Russia when HITLER was in control there, than we have of improving our own country.

We START wars, just because one person & his friends decide to blow up a couple of planes, and kill a couple thousand people. I am not against finding BinLaden and his followers, but why destroy a COUNTRY over ONE person????? There is NO sense at all in that, and there never has been.

We got into WW2 because the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, ok, I agree with that one. It wasn't called for to begin with. But, what right did we have in getting into WW1? We had no right at all. We should have stayed out of it, and let them fight it out between themselves. But, did we? Hell no we didn't. Our country decided it was going to help another country instead of minding its own business.

Vietnam, lets see, why did we go over there when it had nothing at all to do with us? Because the GOVERNMENT of this country decided to stick its nose where it didn't belong, AS USUAL.

Korea, another war we didn't need to stick our nose into.

Iwo Jima, another one we didn't need to stick our nose into.

We send our children over to do the GOVERNMENTS "dirty" work. Why? Because we have to. Because if our children, when they turn 18 years of age, don't sign up with one of the Military Services, they get taunted & bullied & so many other things until they are forced to enlist with one of them. That is not right. Our children should have the CHOICE of whether they want to join the military or not, they shouldn't be MADE to do it.

If this country is so FREE, then what the hell happened to our RIGHT TO CHOOSE, our RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH, our RIGHT "NOT" TO PAY TAXES (and this one you can look up on the AMENDMENTS OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES AS WRITTEN IN 1913), our RIGHTS TO CHOOSE OUR OWN RELIGION, our RIGHTS AS HUMAN BEINGS are all being taken away from us one by one, and NOBODY CARES.

Most everything now-a-days is MONEY. If you don't have it, you don't count.

Our Holidays. Oh, yes, I can't forget them. Lets see, ALL government & local offices (whether paid by the government or NOT), take off every single day possible. A listing for you, then my thoughts on them:

American national holiday dates, these might be useful when planning your holiday as some dates bring the whole of America to a standstill.

Now, for the rest of it.

These are just some of the holidays that are celebrated throughout the year. Does anyone see Yom Kippur (a Jewish holiday) listed here? No, because the U.S. don't care about it. Does anyone see Mardi Gras listed here? Again, NO. Does anyone see Kwanza listed here? Again, NO. Why? Because of our stupid government. Just because the U.S. Government don't see it as a U.S. holiday, it don't get put on our list of holidays. Without me adding it, would anyone see Lincoln's Birthday here? No they wouldn't. Does anyone see Chinese New Year listed here? Again, no they do not. Why? Because the U.S. GOVERNMENT don't celebrate it. Does anyone see Ash Wednesday listed here? Again, NO. All these dates though, are listed on our calendars.

Does anyone see John Wayne's Birthday listed here? No, he was just an actor, no one cares that he is now dead. Does anyone see President John F. Kennedy's Birthday listed here? Hell no, because they were glad he got killed, even if it were someone from his own Presidential Party that was involved with his death.

Here's an interesting fact for everyone: Many of the world's top sharpshooters have tried to emulate Lee Harvey Oswald's "assassination", but none have been able to do so. Lee was supposed to be using an Italian built bolt-action rifle. But this rifle is known to have a very slow action. That means that it takes some effort to re-cock the rifle, and thus it takes a lot of time to re-cock and re-aim it. Also, he was aiming at a moving target, which is twice as difficult. Also, Lee almost washed out of the US Marines. Why? He was a lousy shot!

This was the first time that a video camera had been present at an "event", and thus recorded the sounds of the rifle fire. It is simply physically impossible to fire those rounds from that rifle as fast as they were heard and recorded.

Theory: It was not LBJ, but I think it was J Edgar Hoover and his FBI thugs. J hated Kennedy, and so did his Mafia buddies. (Of course, LBJ could have been conspiring with J.)

Does anyone see Gerald Ford's Birthday (now deceased) listed here? No, they don't, and probably won't see it either, as he was one of the presidents, that people elected into office and then didn't give 2 shits about after that. Does anyone see Palm Sunday listed here? No they don't, and they won't. Does anyone see Good Friday listed here? Again, no they don't, and they won't.

Does anyone see EASTER listed here? Especially since Easter is SUPPOSED to represent the day that Jesus was resurrected from the dead. To which has also become another MONEY RACKET holiday for the retailers. To which also, the meaning has gone away from peoples minds. Easter is no longer the day that Jesus rose from the dead. It is now just another day for people to take off work, just like any other of the 50+ holidays this country has per year.

Does anyone see Easter Monday listed here? No, because it's a Canadian holiday, so the U.S. don't give a shit about it. Here's and interesting holiday for everyone, its called "Administrative Professional Day". Now what the hell type of day is that? Some sort of new fangled Holiday? What do people consider an Administrative Professional? It could be anyone, anywhere. It could be even a mother that stays home all day. It could be anything you want it to be, but its listed on our calendars as a holiday.

Does anyone see May Day listed here? Nope, and you won't. Even though that is supposed to have been the ending of WW2 (better known to some as D-Day). Does anyone see Victoria Day listed here? Nope, because again, it is a Canadian holiday and the U.S. Government don't celebrate it, but they put it on our calendars. In my eyes, not fair to do things like that. If your not gonna celebrate it, why put it on our calendars to begin with?

Does anyone see St. Jean Baptiste Day on here? Nope. Again, because it is a Quebec, Canada holiday, and the U.S. Government don't celebrate it, but again, it is on our calendars. Does anyone see Canada Day here? Nope. But again, its on our calendars. And, our Government don't even celebrate it.

Here's a little known fact. Did anyone ever take the time to notice that AUGUST is the only month of the year, that DOES NOT have any type of holiday listed on any one of its 31 days? Well, you do now. August is the only month, to which no holiday or special day has been given to it. The only month of the year that NOTHING is celebrated. The only month that unless you have a grandparent, parent, brother, sister, daughter, son, neice, nephew, aunt, uncle, or any other relative that has a birthday in it, gets celebrated with absolutely NOTHING governmental.

Does anyone see Rosh Hashanah (a Jewish holiday) listed here? Once again the answer is NO. Why? Because the U.S. Government doesn't celebrate it, but they put it on our calendars. Lets go back to Columbus day for a moment. Did you know, that the TRUE date for Columbus day is actually October 12th? If not, you do now. The government seems to think its easier just to put it at the second Monday of October, so THEY don't forget when it is. Does anyone see Canada's Thanksgiving Day listed here? Nope, and you won't. Why? For the same reason as the rest of the holidays that are not listed on this list of U.S. Holidays, because the U.S. Government doesn't celebrate it, so they don't care about it, but again, they put it on our calendars.

Here's a couple of more interesting days that are celebrated in the U.S. First, we have Sweetest Day, usually the 3rd Saturday of October (I know this, because my birthday sometimes falls on it). What do we need a Sweetest Day for? Shouldn't your sweetest day be every day of the year if your either with your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, or better-half? I think so at least, I don't know how anyone else feels, but thats how I feel about it. Next, we have Secretary's Day. What need is there for a day for your secretary to be "special" when your secretary (man or woman), should be treated "special" every day of the working year? In my opinion, just another day that the people of the U.S. decided to put on the calendar to celebrate it. And lastly, we have National Boss Day. Now who in the hell was stupid enough to think of that as a holiday? As I stated for Secretary's Day, you should treat your boss with respect if you want respect back. You treat your boss like shit, he/she will treat you like shit too.

Does anyone see Remembrance Day listed here? Again, a big NOPE. Why? Because its another Canadian holiday, and the U.S. government don't think that we should celebrate it. They also don't take into consideration how many CANADIANS, INDIANS, JEWS, CHINESE, JAPANESE, KENYAN, ETC. people that are living here in this country. Does anyone see Boxing Day listed here? A final NOPE, again, because it is a Canadian holiday, and the U.S. does NOT celebrate it. But like all the other HOLIDAYS that I have put in this section, they are on our U.S. calendars.

Some people will probably say that I'm going overboard with this whole holiday thing. But, if you really think about it, AM I? How would you feel if you lived in a country that didn't celebrate one of your holidays. I have a lot of different nationalities in me, but I was born here in America, just like my parents, grandparents, and even some of my great grandparents. I also know that I relatives living in Italy, but where, I do not know, and that is just my Grandmother on my father's side of the family that I know about. I know nothing of my Grandfather's origins on my father's side. I know nothing of my mother's parents either. My Grandfather on my mother's side, all I know about him is that he was born in Kentucky. Where his family came from before that, I don't know. My Grandmother on my mother's side, I know absolutely nothing about. Not even where she was originally born at. Some family tree huh? But that is besides the point.

What I'm getting at here, is that this so-called Government of ours, don't care about the people here in this country. All they care about is getting their MONEY, getting our husbands, wives & children KILLED IN WARS THEY START, the list is endless. But the main point is, is that the Government of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THEIR OWN PEOPLE AND COULD CARE LESS HOW MANY OF THEIR OWN CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN OR EVEN THE CHILDREN OR GRANDCHILDREN OF OTHERS LIVE OR DIE, HAVE A HOME TO LIVE IN OR NOT, HAVE FOOD TO EAT OR NOT....BUT BOY ARE THEY MORE THAN WILLING TO GO TO OTHER COUNTRIES AND FEED THEM, WHEN THEY KNOW THAT THEY HAVE STARVING PEOPLE HERE IN THEIR OWN HOME COUNTRY.

Why is it that every Governmental Person, seems to think that their LIES won't catch up to them? It's remarkable, how many laws are made each year, just to STOP people from being able to do something. Which brings me to my next subject.
