Star Fox Adventures
Platform: Gamecube
Rated: T (Teen)
What do you get when you cross The legend of Zelda and Star Fox?  You get Star Fox Adventures. In this game, Dinosaur Planet is falling apart because the time crystals are missing and it's up to Fox McCloud to grab them and put the planet back together, but there are bigger problems to solve than that. The Karzoa Spirits are missing and General Scales has to be stopped. Your armed with a powerful staff  and a sidekick (and I don't mean the physical kick). The game is played like the Zelda games on N64 where you solve mind bending puzzles, do a lot of walking and dino smacking. There are also things to buy that may help you in the game, for example maps, and if you die there is a rare item you have to find that you can restore your energy, and unlike in Zelda there are no heart peices to find and you have to defeat a boss to get more life. Also for those who play Star Fox just to fly the Arwing, they have that too, but no first person shooting. The whole point of the Arwing fights is to grab the amount of gold rings to reach your destination. The sidekick is very helpful, he can search for items, hold a door for you , and set things on fire, the problem is you have feed him to do those things and the food is hard to get during the day. Also to grab a Karzoa spirit you have to do a test and each test is different and quite familiar to some people. The sound is very nice, the music goes along with the game and the voices can be quite similar to those who watch anime. The graphics are very detailed even to the tiniest hair. The controls are very simple it takes a minute to learn and master. The gameplay is quite similar to Zelda but some other parts of the game may be familiar to others.

The Score:

Sound:3.5
Graphics:4.0
Controls:4.0
Gameplay: 3.5
