Due Date:  Scholars - 2/16/05

Materials Needed:  - 2 pieces of graph paper
                           - 1 piece of blank paper
                              (can use copy paper, construction paper, etc.)
                           - Materials to decorate "book" cover

Activity Guidelines:  - Fold the papers (blank paper on the bottom/outside)
                                horizontally (hamburger).
                             -  All coordinates, given and found, must be listed with each below.

The book must contain the following (one on each page):
                               
Blank Paper:
                                I.) Cover with Student Name and Project Title (be creative).
                              
Graph Paper:
                                I.)
Two Dilations:
                                     List and plot 2 dilated figures & connect the figures'
                                     corresponding points with dotted lines.
                                     1. Dilate by 2:   (0 , 1) (1 ,
-1) (-1 , 1)
                                     2. Dilate by 1/2:  (
-6 , 4) (-2 , 6) (2 , 4)  (-2 , 2)
                               II.)
Two Rotations:
                                     1. Rotate 90 degrees: A(

                                     2. Rotate 180 degrees: A(
-3 , 5), B(0 , 7), C(3 , 5), D(0 , 1)
                              III.)
Two Reflections:
                                     1. Reflect over x-axis: A(

                                     2. Reflect over y-axis: A(

Two Translations:
