Story

Kirk, McCoy and Scotty are visiting Aurgelius II ,for shore leave, following an accident in which Scotty injured his head. No sooner have they arrived then a serial murderer strikes, and all evidence points to Scotty as the murderer. A mystery follows, in which the crew of the Enterprise discovers that an alien force of pure evil that had appeared on Earth in the form of Jack the Ripper, has unleashed itself on Aurgelius. The evil force in the body of Mr. Hengist is beamed out into space to float away.

Aurgelius 2- populated by gentle harmless people who had a 'great awakening' 200 years ago in which the society outlawed all negative emotions. The Law of Argelius is Love. Sabo has the ancient gift of insight and magic called the Argelian Empathic Contact. There hadn't been a murder on the planet for 200 years. They are in a strategic location in the Federation and known for its hospitality.
