Story:

Both the Federation and the Klingons vie for an alliance with the people of Capella IV, which is no easy task for Kirk and the Enterprise as the Klingon commander, Kras, backstabs them and attempts to manipulate the Capellans at every turn.

Capella 4 plnent with  primitive warrior tribes of humans which is rich in the mineral Topoline needed for life support systems

SS Dierdre-a frieghter ship whose distress call forces the Enterprise away from the planet. The Klingon's faked the distress call.

USS Carolina- a federation ship

Magnacite nitron tablet. a substance which when struck with another object, provides a fire for light.
