promoted too fast. Loses his cool on the bridge but is selected
(volunteers) to stay with Balok on the Fesarius ship to exchange
information and cultures.
Clint Howard
Balok, commander of the space ship Fesarius
of the First Federation. Very short and ugly, but obviously a powerful
people. (no other information). Uses a hidious puppet to fool the outside
world. Spock regrets not knowing more about him as he is reminiscent of
his father (amd may heaven have helped your mother)

Synopsis:
While on a star mapping mission the Enterprise encounters a dangerous
alien probe while exploring an uncharted region in space. Moments
later,
they are locked in the tractor beam of a ship identifying itself as
the
Fesarius, which has threatened them with destruction. All attempts
at
escape fail, and Kirk develops an ingenious plan to trick his opponent.
What's even more ingenious is the episode's denouement, in which the
true
identity of the Fesarius' captain is revealed. (copied off the
